This workshop explores what makes an action fully playable and how a choice is a framework for engaging interaction. By refining the precision of action and intention, performers will learn to bring scenes to life with clarity and dynamism. What You'll Learn: Defining Playable Action – Crafting choices that drive scenes forward with purpose. Scene Structure & Interaction – Understanding how actions shape relationships and narrative flow. Embodying Dynamic Storytelling – Using movement, voice, and presence to enliven the text. Refining Choices Through Repetition – Honing instincts and sharpening performance through iterative scene work. Over six sessions, actors will develop a sharper, more adaptable approach to scene work, making each moment fully alive and connected. Who is this for? This is for actors who want to develop a deeper understanding of how action drives storytelling. It is designed for those who seek to refine their ability to make scene work dynamic, interactive, and alive.
Cancellation Policy
To ensure a productive and professional learning environment, participants are expected to arrive on time and fully prepared for each session. Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellations made at least 7 days before the first class are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 6 days and 48 hours before the first class will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the first class. However, a credit may be applied toward a future workshop or private coaching session. By enrolling, participants agree to these terms.
