20 hours of class at Vancouver's Dance Centre, 677 Davie Street (Birmingham Studio). Oct 22 & 23 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Oct 24 & 25 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. Enjoy freedom, playfulness, and joy in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere with master teacher, Lisa Dalton, president of the National Michael Chekhov Association (NMCA) in Dallas, TX. Dalton delivers the most comprehensive experience of Michael Chekhov’s technique, which is rooted in imagination and movement. Explore the complete set of tools as outlined in the Chart of Inspired Action, which Michael Chekhov created for NMCA co-founder Mala Powers. From your first session, you will apply them to auditions, improvisations, monologues, scene performances, and experience Michael Chekhov’s rich legacy. You’ll walk away with a new artistic family and a suitcase full of tools that you can use to enrich your work and your life!

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your booking. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the workshop are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the workshop are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the workshop are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. If the workshop is cancelled by the organizer, participants will receive a full refund.
